Inviting the Ovation award-winning Civic Light Opera to produce a season of plays at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse. Now in its third successful season.
Sponsored a children's theatre Summer program and Steven Sondheim's "Into The Woods" by the community-based Hermosa Beach Players
Successfully lobbied to establish a community-based outreach program at the new Pier Avenue 2nd Story Theatre to feature works by local playrights, poets, musicians and a Saturday morning "hands-on" puppet show for young children.
Our wish list for the future includes (but is not limited to!) new windows for the Community Center, youth and teen scholarships for city programs, imprd walkways, stairways, bathrooms and landscaping, and patio furniture for Easter Seals Participants and ARC.
